Absolutely inspired by your blog.
Am planning to do a 1000km ride to raise money for a charity and would love the opportunity to talk with you. Maybe get some pointers as the longest I’ve ever done is 50km straight.

You’re a great writer, and you recaptured the TransAm experience very well in your blog. I’m glad I got to meet and ride with you in Colorado and Wyoming for a few days. You, my friend, are really, really, really, really, really, really, really a badass.

Hey hey bro! Long time no talk. Remember riding and hanging with you for a couple of days in Walden, CO and into Rawlins, WY and then up to Lander. Glad to see you finished, and it’s too bad we didn’t get to hook up when you got here to my hometown of Portland. I see you found some cool shit here (STUMPTOWN!!) and had a good time so that’s awesome. I hope P-town treated you right!! You are hiking Canada to Mexico in 2011? I’m assuming you’re doing the PCT, but am I wrong? Hope all is well. Drop me a line sometime, and of course, if you’re near to Portland during next year’s hike, you should come into town and hang out a bit!!

thanks much. it was hard putting forth so much time on the computer whilst on the road. falling behind … catching up … i tried hard not ignore my surroundings during the 9-10 hours/week i’d spend on the computer.

We enjoyed meeting you in August off Idaho’s Highway 12 – about the last place in the world we expected to see a unicyclist. You might recall us as the group of backpackers with the organization Wilderness Volunteers, heading into the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness to spend a week maintaining and repairing trails.

passed you this summer while i was riding west to east on transam through yellowstone. glad to hear you had a successful journey. must say, i felt pretty pathetic going downhill at 16mpt while you passed me going up the same hill at about 14mph!
